ABOUT ME

I am outgoing and friendly and I love traveling around the world and meeting new people and learning about different cultures. Everyone tells me I am full of energy. I love to laugh and have fun and try not to take myself to seriously. I also love being a Granna to my two handsome grandsons and two granddaughters! I love making friends all over the world and look forward to meeting you!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I am Christian. I believe the Bible and try to live by the values and morals that are taught by the Bible.
Do unto others what you would like them to do for you.
Sometimes when a door of happiness closes we continue to look so long at the closed door we miss the new one that has opened in its place. Always look for the new things life is offering you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Met a wonderful CS guy in Cairo and now have made a friend for life. Met several others at a going away get together and had a great time. Met some wonderful people who I plan to stay in touch with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just met a wonderful Egyptian friend in Cairo and he has made me a believer in CS. Was an awesome experience and made a friend for life. Hope to host him one day in America.

Interessen

Traveling!!! I am very family oriented and love spending time with my family at our lake house. Love going out in the boat and just cruising around the lake and laying in the sun. I enjoy going to school and learning new things. I love traveling to new places meeting new people and going on cruises!! Cairo is also my new interest!!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't watch a lot of TV. But love to watch drama, mystery and love stories when I have time. Love to read when I have time and like a lot of different music. A couple of movies I enjoyed is Pretty Woman, Brave Heart, The Patriot and The Thomas Crown Affair.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

WOW! Gone to a lot of places around the world..China (Great Wall) (twice),Hong Kong, India, France (twice), England (twice), Africa (twice), Germany, Switzerland, Belgium (twice), Holland, South America, almost all the states including Hawaii and Alaska, The Bahamas, Haiti, islands in the Caribbean, Mexico so many places can't name them all. Have seen many amazing things, met many amazing people and visited many amazing places while traveling. I can't name just one!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am from the south and we are known for our southern hospitality. I would love to learn to speak Arabic and Spanish. Not sure if I will but am open to learn at least a little. Love learning about different cultures.
