The first time I ever couchsurfed through this community was in 2007. Outside of this, I've definitely seen my fair share of couches through friends of friends or family. I don't even remember at this point who introduced me to couchsurfed as a "thing" people do, but the idea has intrigued me since.

I'm a pretty laidback yet assertive person. I have things I want to do, but it's not all planned out. I go with the flow. I like learning about people and places. I usually find both very interesting.

Interessi

I love traveling (isn't that why we're all here?). Absolutely love learning new things about places I have never visited or even places that I regularly spend time in. I was never into history class, until I was given the chance to actually visit the places where history was made. I still cringe a little about visiting museums though.

I also used to be more involved in theater (techie here!) in high school. As I've gotten older, I've channeled that into going to see productions and concerts. I used to listen to show tunes a lot and only occasionally listen to them now. I keep telling myself that I should own each cast album for the shows I've seen live. While it's not exactly a lot, I probably only own one... *sigh*

Oh, and I love food and sharing it. I'd be satisfied by simply eating my way through a city with new and old friends.

I've always thought of myself as a rather cynical/realistic person. Ironically enough, I have so many people tell me I have a very optimistic outlook. So as long as I'm putting out positive vibes, I'm happy to share them! I love talking about people I know and their stories. I also like taking about the places I've visited. Or maybe we can embark on a journey together in your city? I love exploring. I also love sharing the adventure with others.
