Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by Edward Abbey. My personal favorites are Desert Solitaire and The Fool's Progress.
Other favorite books include Glen Canyon by Steve Hannon, and Into Thin Air, Into The Wild, and Under the Banner of Heaven by John Krakauer.
I'm a big country and bluegrass music fan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most amazing experiences thus far has been traveling to Hawaii (big island) on a volcanology field trip. It was an amazing area both geologically and culturally to learn about, not to mention breathtakingly beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can try to teach you something about the geology of your area. I'm happy to learn about anything you throw my way.
