About Me

Hi there!

I am more of a night owl than an early bird. Usually I am not that dependant on other people, I really like partying and goofing around with friends, but I also like to take trips alone or meditate. I am a vegetarian since my childhood, but I don't bother if you eat meat.

I am in Korea right now and stay until August 2016

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to enter directly the fray, not just living in a hotel room to have a life which is similiar to mine in Germany. Being immersed into the culture is my goal. Losing myself into a vibrant city. Party hard and visiting calm places, but not doing sightseeing. Better to find something on your own.
I want to travel directly, unbound from any organisation or company to really experience the different parts of the country.
I thought the closes I can get to this is through Couchsurfing. My friend Laura showed me this website, so I took the chance.

Interests

Mostly I prefer doing something in cities, like partying, meeting friends or going for long walks. But I also love hiking or making picnic in the nature. Sometimes I cook for people I am close with. In the science department I am specifically into sociology and psychology. How people live their way and how they deal with things is also very interesting for me. I am looking into some parts of spirituality, lucid dreaming and personal development.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer hearing electronic, modern classical music and Gregorian. In the past, I heard mostly rock and (heavy) metal, so I am not reluctant to those as well.

In the movie department, Lost in Translation, Amadeus, some things from Kim Ki Duk, Vanilla Sky, Fight club, The Fountain and Watchmen are some movies which come in my mind first. I think I watched most of the notable dystopian movies out there. During my high school time, I was a little bit crazy about watching movies, every night I finished two, so after I wasn't moved to the next class (:S) I finally understand the whole movie talk and found out my favourite genres. Currently I watch 80s movies.

The last novel I read was Robopocalypse. Currently I feel like I didn't have the time to read more novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember saving a pet rat from getting killed by a cat when I was 4.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not even close to know what is even happening in this world. I am always glad for new input. Otherwise I love to share and teach things, if I feel the person really enjoys it. Because I come from a typical secular western background, I grew up speaking openly about every topic and sometimes debate about it. My goal is to be wise when I am old, but still be down-to-earth.

What I Can Share with Hosts
