Hey folks, this is Gohar Balti – photographer, vlogger, and full-time nature addict from a tiny slice of paradise called Kharkoo Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan. It’s a small village in Khaplu, just a 2-hour scenic drive from Skardu city.

Over the years, I’ve hosted some amazing couchsurfers – and trust me, the memories we created are worth framing! 🌄 These days, though, I’m mostly on the road myself, chasing mountains and sunsets, so I get fewer chances to host. But hey, whenever I’m around, my doors are wide open for all you lovely souls wandering the world.

Since I’m a traveler and a photographer, I’m always on a mission: find the best views, capture them, and live the moment like a boss. I’ve got a decent social media presence too—so yeah, people know me as the guy who makes mountains look even more photogenic. 📸

Recently, I explored the cultural and historical city of Kashgar, China. Loved it to bits… except one tiny thing: couldn’t find a single couchsurfer there! 😅 Guess the mountains there are shy.

For my guests, I’ve got a little farmhouse surrounded by mountains and pure nature. You’ll get the real local vibe here—fresh glacier water, electricity, Wi-Fi (so you can brag about your trip instantly), veggies, fruits, and sometimes even traditional Balti food if the mood strikes. Basically, whatever I have for myself, I share with you.

So pack your bags, bring your smiles, and if I’m in town, my couch (and my heart) are yours!

Guys, first of all, I’d love to host anyone at my place. But if our timing and my schedule don’t match, no worries! I can still tag along with you to the most photogenic spots and click pictures of you like you just walked out of a fashion magazine… even if the wind is the only thing doing your hair!
