ABOUT ME

Hi We are Doug and Jantina, a happy American/Dutch couple.
We live in Naples, Florida. Not Italy.
We love traveling and meeting locals on our travels.
Meeting people in the locale community ads so much to the experience.
Doug is a bit of an History buff and I am an Antiques dealer myself.
As Rome is one of the city's in the world where you find a lot of both it is high on our priority list to visit.
We have done house swaps but have not tried "Couch surfing" yet.
We heard about this from a good friend and we love to try it.
We are an easy going couple with a wide spectrum of interests.
We like to go to visit Rome end of January. To be more precise from

We are both working for our self. What sometimes means: we are our own slaves.
But when not working we like to travel and have fun. You will often find us on the beach.
Doug loves fishing and is just back from a Salmon fishing trip in lake Erie.
In the time he was away I myself went on a 3 day cruise with a friend. (I love cruising)
besides fishing Doug loves flying, he is a Pilot of small planes.
Last year we were in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium Austria, Croatia en Italy.
We where planning to travel to Rome but the heat made us delay this trip.
