ABOUT ME

I was born in Northern India and spent my entire youth till now in Mumbai, the city of dreams... this city brought out a great 'amateur' cook in me, I love to experiment with my food, I am a free thinker, soft talker and soft hearted, I believe in equality among all human beings (no gender, caste, sexuality, race, social and financial background, color discrimination), I like to believe that I am a loyal frined, a loving human being, I believe in the goodness in the universe and know that everything happens for good, every experience counts

PHILOSOPHY

This life is an opportunity to experience the riches of this world, riches which are mostly free, riches of nature, riches of people, of love, of affection, of expression

I host people from across the world, met some nicest human beings (and some weird ones too), I have also stayed with many welcoming hosts

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience with couchsurfing, either surfing or hosting, has always been distinct and rich, have sometimes agreed and sometimes disagreed on various discussions with my hosts/surfers but in that have always learned new things about people's cultures, their foods, their lifestyles... have also always tried to answer people's strange curious questions about India and its culture/people, this has been an immensely enriching experience :)

I like to listen to any kind of music, specially by A R Rehman, Hemant Kumar, Geeta Dutt, sufi music, Hindustani classical

I love movies, recently I likedWhiplash, Birdman, spotlight, also have loved there will be blood, shindler's list, godfather, hulk, mad max fury road, all the alejandro innaritu films, roshomon, satyajit ray films

I am not so much into reading books but I love extensively read up my morning Newspaper and books on history and politics

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

many, travelled alone to many cities of India and other countries, Saw the rising sun at the Southern most tip of India, took a lot of unconventional career decisions, slept in a tent in a hilly jungle, ate octopus in Korea, jumped off the boat and swam back to the shore in an ocean-river (not a wise thing to do)

I can teach some great things from Indian Kitchen, and about the diverse cultures of India, want to learn about world cuisine, world cinema and world politics and various societies

like I said my experimental cooking, my knowledge of movies and music, and i can teach some rare local words in Hindi which no dictionary can teach you, I am good at massages, I am a Reiki (an ancient healing technique) master and can extend this beautiful healing technique to make you feel great, I can teach you few things in Yoga and yogic breathing (pranayam) as well
