About Me

Hi ho,

Well, the world is becoming a very small place. But unfortunately not small enough to take a plane, bus, boat or bike when you want to want to discover the land of freedom, that's why I travel by bike.

I did a tour from London to Kathmandu and travelled the world by sea. Back home in Belgium on the countryside, the place where I would have expected it the least, I met the woman of my life and followed her to New York.

Adventure is what life is all about for me, so I took on this new challenge and hope to meet new friends all over this fantastic country.

PHILOSOPHY

After having seen children in all countries I travelled to who suffered from desperate situations I decided to start a company to inspire and encourage them, and also people in general, to grab opportunities and and to live their dreams. I will now cycle from NYC to Texas through the United States to promote C-WAWA, my clothing brand that accentuates the rebellion and entrepreneurial character of go-getters. I want to help people find their individual identity and live adventures and dreams, big ones and small ones and even the most little ones of every day life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To mingle with people, to have new experiences and get the advice from the best... who are the locals off course.

Interests

I am a fanatic sailor, Can't put it in other words then this.

Traveling and photography are not to be forgotten.
I have to say that I am a person who likes action and you will see me smile on a horse or deep in the sea, even when falling out of an airplane.

Since I was a child, I wanted to be able to Sail, Drive and Fly. The first two skills I master now the flying.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, every style has it's charmes.

Unfortunatly I am too much on the road to see alot of movies, so I am a bit of an alien when it comes to that. But mind you, I love a movie night once and a while.

Books, mainly non fiction. I like to dig in interesting topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been drinking tea with a Palistinian and an Israeli just after a Bomb exploded. The discussion was great, they all want is peace. I had tears in my eyes to see these 'enemies' getting along and thinking the same thing. Even when they both lot loved ones during the conflict.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been traveling Europe and Australia on a professional basis for 8 years all together and I would be happy to share my knowledge. Also The middle east, India and Nepal are no strangers to me.

I know a thing or two about photography.

I would like to learn everything about the world, so don't think you can bore me with travel stories or advice.
