About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be proven wrong through better ideas than my own.

ABOUT ME

I am open minded and practical. I'm self aware and try to use only what I need - in this matter I guess I'm respectable. I love to laugh. I love to eat. I love to hear music, ideas and thoughts. I love to meet new people and create new friends. When I'm old, I'll reflect on the lifestyle I lead and sure hope it makes me smile.

PHILOSOPHY

Laughing at myself makes life easier.
Lack of comfort is more fun.
Over thinking is a virtue, not a fault.
Bike through trees.
Listen to music with good headphones.
Read.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I too will offer my couch when I live in a place that serves to do so, right now is just not the time ... you wouldn't be very comfortable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived on a boat house twenty minutes outside of Amsterdam, ate the best risotto in Zurich and danced like crazy at a techno club in Hamburg. Most importantly, however, is that I met genuinely nice and interested people. My experiences will never be forgotten and have completely revolutionized the way I view traveling, sharing and the importance of cultural exchange.

Interests

Street food.
All kinds of music - anything with a legitimate rhythm.
Getting drunk and being goofy
Being sober and being goofy
Conversation about you, me or whatever.
I am here to learn whatever it is you have to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

What I've heard, seen or read recently:

Music: Grizzly Bear. Department of Eagles. Sufjan Stevens. Andrew Bird. Stan Getz. The Leisure Society. Miles Davis. My own guitar. I'm Always listening to Radiohead.

Movies: Kolya. Let the Right One In. Revolutionary Road. Delicatessen

Books: Severin's Journey Into the Dark. The Unbearable Lightness Of Being. The Trial. Frankenstein. The Mysteries of Pittsburgh. Notes from the Underground. King Lear.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live music.

Teach, Learn, Share

Even though I cannot read music, I can play the guitar and would love to learn about or teach anyone musical philosophies/ideas. I want to learn whatever you can offer - otherwise I wouldn't be surfing.
