ABOUT ME

I am a change addict. I love trying new things and like to think every ending is a new beginning. I have lived in a few of Canada's major cities (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Victoria) and spent a good deal of time exploring some of the other parts of the country.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep learning. There is something to be garnered from every experience, it's what you make it. But when it all hits the fan, I like to refer to a Ben Franklin quote:
When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only couched surfed a couple times, and had mainly positive experiences. I think some people have ulterior motives when they host/surf, I just want to sleep on your couch and hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mainly in South America this past winter. With Jaime in Chile and Tuta in Argentina.

Being in the wilderness. Climbing. Cycling. Just being active. Learning new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I went to Morocco with my Mom and Grandmother, it was her first time back in 55 years. We went to Casablanca, to see where she grew up. It was pretty awesome to reminisce with her and stay with her in the hotel, like we were teen girls at a sleep over.

Life is a series of interactions, coincidences, and experiences. I try to have fun with it. Sometimes I get caught up trying to "figure out what it means," but sometimes, it just is.
