ABOUT ME
- 33 years old
- Live right now in Montreal, but previously lived one year in Beijing and one year and a half in Vancouver
- Will eventually be living in other cities (HK is high on my list)
- Lived or travelled in 23 countries... which is clearly not enough :-)
- In love with Asia, its foods, its crowds
- Would like, one day, to bike from Vancouver to southern tip of South America
- Think I have a certain talent to make people laugh
- Couldn't imagine my life without chickpeas and cumin
PHILOSOPHY
Many, notably:
- In order to have things that you never had, you must do things that you never did
- I don't care about the size of the dog in the fight, I care about the size of the fight in the dog
- We must become the change we want to see
- We don’t laugh because we’re happy, we’re happy because we laugh
- What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others
- Life is too important to be taken seriously

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Top 5 of the most amazing things I have seen in my life (not necessarily in the right order): seeing the sun rising on a pyramid in Tikal, Guatemala, with the jungle waking up / the train ride between Olso and Bergen / everything I have seen in one year in China / Angkor Wat and its 200 temples/Milford Sound Glacier in New Zealand
Top 5 of the most amazing things I have seen in my life (not necessarily in the right order): parachute jumping home / paragliding over Lago de Attitlan in Guatemala / walking on the Fox Glacier in NZ / white water sledging in Queenstown, NZ / Elephant riding in Laos
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't like to tell people what to do or what to think. I think people can find their own way. They will experience what they have to experience because it's their own life and nobody has the power to control one's life. But if there's one thing... be tolerant would be my best advice. Be humble, don't judge someone or a situation before you really know it. Talk to people, ask questions, question yourself and your beliefs. Ignorance and intolerance won't lead anywhere. Knowledge and tolerance will...
