COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I surfed first time, I wasn't a member of CS.
I visisted Serbia and Kosovo with my friends. Someone hosted us, with someone we just met to talk. Great experience. After that I decided that this way is much more interesting, than a way of a typical tourist.
A few months ago, I visited Spain with a friend, and was finally convinced that CS is the most interesting for me. This is just the beginning.

兴趣

First of all, swingdance! Lindy hop, boogie-woogie, balboa, I like it too much!
Music is my passion, and I very interested in different musical instruments from different countries. I have an amateur rock'n'roll band and sometimes we play at weddings, I like it)
Huge fan of sport. I like to watch, to participate in different competitions, not for medals, just for fun)
Cycling in summer, skating in winter, orienteering, cross-country skiing, football, volleyball etc..

Sometimes I go to ska concerts in Moscow, and sometimes just playing with friends in card games, like poker, munchkin or "mafia" all night long. Two absolutely different ways of relax, i like both..

Science (especially physics). For sure, I'm not a Sheldon Cooper, but, if you want, I can explain you how does the nuclear reactor works)

Psychedelic art, old posters, hitch-hiking, music-jams etc.

This list may be constantly changing, but who cares?

Jazz, 60's, psychedelic rock, reggae, ska, cumbia
Street musicians, shitty amateur rock bands, spontaneous improvisation in the squares, acoustic music with friends in the kitchen..
Live music, jazz bands.
Studio albums with perfect music quality, arrangements, accurate playing of every note are great, really) but noisy live concerts or gigs of ordinary street trumpetists, guitarists are more impressive and emotional)

Favourite films?
I Cento Passi (English: One Hundred Steps) - film about Italian political activist Peppino Impastato (based on the true story).
Cool Runnings - comedy about Jamaican bobsledge team debut in the olympic games in Calgary'88 (based on the true story, too)
Nine Days in One Year - old Soviet film about scientists.
and many other, like Pi, Doors, Crossroads(1986), Back to the Future, Forrest Gump etc.

Books: I really can't choose favourite writers or poets.. but for example i like Márquez, Mayakovskiy, Brodskiy, Tolkien, Remarque, Green (Our Man in Havana)..
Now I'm reading a novel Siddhartha by Herman Hesse
