CURRENT MISSION

Travel for six months (April to Sept) through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia

ABOUT ME

I am blessed to be on a six month journey through Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Colombia and Chile. This trip is devoted to my exploration on a physical and spiritual level. I have never traveled alone or without an organization guiding my way, so this is my first time letting go of structure, plans, time and deadlines. I create my own days, meals, entertainment and education... which has been empowering in itself!
When I arrive back to the states, I hope to enroll into a masters program, called Food Studies. This program speaks to me because it intertwines organic gardening/agriculture, culinary technique and nutrition.
Other than that, I enjoy hikes, bikes, cooking, reading, music, beer!, wine, film and much more!

Hola Chicos y Chicas! Me llamo Lauren y soy de los EEUU, California, Santa Barbara. Tengo 26 anos y estuie Sociologia en la universidad. Despues que me gradue de la uni me fui a vivir en el Ecuador por dos anos como Voluntaria en una comunidad indigena.
Aprendi espanol por parte de mi madre y su familia porque son de Cali, Colombia. Creciamos escuchando el idioma pero sin practicar y conversar.... Entonces estoy haciendo un recorrideo por la Argentina, Bolivia, Chile y Paraguay para apprender mas y viajar en este parte del mundo tan bello!
Me encanta hacer trekking, deportes, cocinar, leer, correr, tomar cerveza y vino, ver pelis, escuchar la musica.. appredener de la gente y aprovechar la vida!
