About Me
🌈 About Me – Goli from Iran
Hey there! I’m Goli — a mix of curiosity, soul-searching, and a little chaos (the good kind!). I was born and raised in Iran, but my heart is always somewhere on the road, following stories, sunsets, and real human connections.
I’ve worked in startups, managed coworking spaces, negotiated with CEOs, and hiked with truck drivers in the middle of nowhere. I love blending business mindsets with backpacker freedom — weird combo, I know… but it’s me.
What I’m into:
✨ Couch talks that go from funny to deep
✨ Long walks in old alleys with tea in hand
✨ Local food (don’t ask how much I eat 😅)
✨ Discovering what makes people tick
✨ Playing with identity, culture, language
I’m not a tourist, I’m a traveler — or maybe even better: an experiencer.
I don’t chase checklists, I chase moments.
I believe that sharing space with someone, even for a night, is one of the most beautiful acts of trust and humanity. That’s why I’m here.
Hosting / Surfing:
I’m clean, calm, respectful, and adaptable. I don’t snore, I cook well (sometimes), and I always leave the space better than I found it.
Also: I’m a great listener — and if we vibe, a great dance partner too 💃
Let’s meet somewhere in the middle of your life and mine, and create something we’ll both remember.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I don’t just travel for the views — I travel for the vibes.
For the late-night talks with strangers-turned-friends, the homes that smell like stories, and the laughs that don’t need translation.
I believe the best parts of a trip aren’t always pinned on a map — they’re found in shared breakfasts, unexpected kindness, and real connection.
Couchsurfing makes the world feel less like a planet and more like a neighborhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two months ago, I tried hitchhiking for the first time. My friend Franak and I went camping in one of the forests of Iran called Olang. It was a wonderful night.
What I Can Share with Hosts
• A little piece of Iran — saffron and barberries straight from Mashhad, with love
• Honest stories, bold laughs, and maybe a few unfiltered truths over tea
• Persian tea brewed the proper way (and I mean proper ☕️)
• A curious mind, a helpful hand — happy to cook together, clean up, or vibe with your playlist
• Travel tips, cultural insights, and real conversations (small talk is cute, but let’s go deeper)
• Some Farsi slang that’ll impress your Persian friends
