About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take to the road, and cover what ground I can.

ABOUT ME

I am an ambivert, content with splitting my time on this earth by myself and with others. Definitely into other cultures, especially the Middle East, Russia, and Europe. I want to go to grad school sometime and get a doctorate in history or international affairs or what have you. Coffee is good. Coffee shops are great for talking. That's all for now.

PHILOSOPHY

Ask me when you meet me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't yet, except that I gave money. Hope I get to participate more than that:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the summer of '08 I was I driving with my friend Mike west of Paris when we encountered a broken-down vehicle on the side of the road. It was an elderly couple, and they were a bit discombobulated. To make it a short story, after giving them a ride into their town, we stayed the night. They didn't speak English, we didn't speak French, but it was great! Through miming, we found out he had flown in the French air force during WWII, and we related the places we had visited in Europe. A memorable experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

Disc Golf is really fun. Zinfandel is equivalent to a grape found on the croatian coast. Traveling from Montenegro through Albania via taxi is a unique, scary, but beautiful way to ride in an odds-on stolen Mercedes. The 'th' sound in English is difficult for many nationalities to make.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, United Kingdom
