ABOUT ME

i'm a freelance translator with a particular interest in literary translation, though i also work for a publishing house and a literary magazine...

i only have one passport. i aim to get more.
so i propose to everyone everywhere so i can collect husbands wives and useful passports

i once picked up juggling for hand eye coordination
and sometimes balance chickpeas (or other things) on my head for improved posture

general passtimes include the likes of photography theatre literature philosophy swimming cycling swing-dancing and etcetc

big fan of word games and translating colloquialisms into different languages

a bit of a geek really

i swing dance, cycle, swim, do yoga, take photos with various film cameras, drink wine, eat various kinds of foodstuffs, go to gallery openings, to the theatre, to readings; i write, translate, read read read (for work and for fun) and i love learning useless phrases in all kinds of languages
