finding the golden middle
I am an adventurer, an active person who values personal freedom above all else, is constantly in motion and loves experiences more than power or social position. My desire to experience life intensely, savor it and constantly deal with new situations. There is a strong tendency in me for impulsive actions. My basic optimism makes me a stand-up guy in the face of difficulties. Security and money do not mean much to me, though I'm not saying i don't seek for it. But I'm willing to sacrifice these when this can result in new experiences. Joy is a key word in my life. Being extroverted, making new contacts and gaining new friends feels natural to me. Words are a very important element in my life. Language is my natural profession. Arguments and fights are fast forgiven and forgotten, because I am not a resentful person. Although I generally get along well with my environment, there is a danger. If circumstances force me to stop, it can happen that I will take this bad mood, irritation or nervousness out on others. Then I am impatient and relatively easily irritated. Although my normal mood is very positive, my reaction in such situations sometimes quick-tempered and impulsive. If another has deeply hurt me it can be difficult to regain real trust for that person, even if I know that they are very sorry. Not because I might be resentful (on the contrary), but because I am much more sensitive than most of those around me imagine.
to make the description about personality (in general) simply i will use a "window" metaphor. so, there is a window within me (within you as well), which is made by other four smaller windows. every small windows reflects a part of our personalities. the first one is the one we are usually happy to share with others. it's what we know about ourselves and we let other people to know it as well. the second one is more like a personal one, it is something, which we either choose someone to share with or we just keep it to ourselves. the third one is the one, which mostly reflects what other people think about us. it's the window which constantly changes due to our surroundings and it reflects our connection to other people. it's how people we know, people we meet everyday, see us and shape our personalities. the fourth piece of the window is the mysterious one... it's something which is yet to be revealed, cause not you, neither others knows about it. it's something what raises existential questions like "who am I", "where I came from", "why and how we exist?". It is the part, which is common amongst all of the individuals of the humanity. so trying to discover, develop that dark part of myself and of anyone, trying to know myself and other people better. it's like the dark matter of the universe - we know it's there, but we don't know about it almost anything. and what about the rest of this window? well, maybe it can't be even expressed in words, maybe it's information, which reaches the deeper level of our consciousness and it can't be understood in the way we understand things simply by using language. so i guess i'm trying to discover as much as possible about this secret window of myself, of you and of all humanity. cause it's the missing peace of the whole divine puzzle picture we live in.
"why is there something rather then nothing?". and ofcourse, the question itself is more important then the answer. If there is this big big big miracle called universe, what does it imply to me? that there is miracles within miracles. Meaning of life? witnessing this mysterious miracle and being the part of it.
