About Me

Hey there! I’m an ambivert. A playful blend of social energy and quiet reflection. The pandemic nudged me toward embracing more solo time these days, but I still love connecting with people from all walks of life. That’s why Couchsurfing excites me: endless stories to share, new friendships to forge, and adventures waiting to happen!

My solo side >>> You’ll often find me wandering parks, exploring malls, or sweating it out at the gym alone. I’ve even mastered the art of dining solo (though movies in a theater by myself? Still working up the courage!). These quiet moments are my reset button, time to recharge and reflect.

My social spark >>> Throw me into a group hike, a workout class, a beach day, or a spontaneous road trip, and I’m all in. I’m that guy who’s always grinning, cracking jokes, joining ultimate frisbee and pickleball games at least once a week. I love a good cardio session, Let’s walk or run!

Life lately >>> I’m on a journey to live more intentionally. Hit 15 months sober (no alcohol and pork), ditched caffeine (farewell coffee, tea, and sodas), and I’m trying to kick sugar—though I’ll never say no to dark chocolates. You might catch me at a café with a fancy herbal drink or a random so-called-healthy-smoothie with chia seeds. Diving into leadership books and podcasts (wayyyy more interesting than they sound), or binging shows like Suits, Modern Family, White Lotus, Schitt’s Creek, no K-Dramas for me tho.

Down for deep chats, Netflix marathons, or just swapping travel stories? Let’s connect! I promise: zero judgment, lots of laughs, and maybe a massage recommendation (my secret obsession).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

✅ To meet new friends, learn a thing or two about other cultures, and to enjoy life!
Share travel stories, a drink, or even a karaoke song

✅ Destress - mainly by discovering places, hanging out with new found friends, having fun!

✅ Learn more about you and your country

Interests

My Happy List 🎯

🌏 Culture & Connection
- Trading stories with strangers-turned-friends (the messier the travel tale, the better)
- Formula 1 debates: Who’s the ultimate GOAT? 🏎️
Spoiler: I’m a Mclaren fanboy
- Photography walks: Let’s hunt for hidden street art or golden-hour light

🍴 Food & Fuel
- Hunting for killer meals (pork-free since 2023, but I’ll fight you for spicy tuna maki and chicken wings)
- Sugar-cutting struggles (dark chocolate is my kryptonite… help)
- (Former) Caffeine addict. But can still join you and look for a nice cafe

🌴 Active Chill
- Beach bumming
- Ultimate Frisbee thrills, pickleball, walking and easy-runs
- Movie marathons

🎶Tell me:
That one song from your playlist that I ‘need’ to have on mine

P.S. 15 months sober = zero judgment. Let’s toast with mocktails, mango shakes, or questionable kombucha! 🥭✨

Music, Movies, and Books

Action, Romantic Comedies, scifi, thriller, Mystery

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

✴ Organized a meet up for Ultra Singapore, and met the most amazing group, we still keep in touch for our next music festival

✴ Canyoneering (Cliff jumping 30ft, 40ft and 50ft) + a 4hr Hike

✴ Spelunking @ the deep caves of Sagada (I have claustrophobia)

✴ Swim with the whalesharks at Oslob, Cebu

✴ Not so Amazing but got pulled over by the Thai Police for driving under the influence of Alcohol, with other couchsurfers. We all tested negative - but this was very unforgettable!

✴ Lost 40lbs of weight (and counting) and be active again. Help me!

Teach, Learn, Share

Let’s swap stories!

Teach me:
- The *real* hidden gems in your city (where do locals actually hang out?)
- Your wildest travel disaster story (bonus points if it involves missed buses or questionable street food)
- How to say “Where’s the bathroom?” or “This is delicious!” in your language
- Your secret for staying sane during long flights/train rides

I’ll teach you:
- How to curse like a Filipino fisherman (strictly for comedy purposes, I swear) 😅
- Protein packed easy meal prep 💪
- Tagalog phrases to charm ‘lolas’ (grandmas) at markets, they’ll sneak you extra mangoes or give bigger discounts

Share with me:
- Your best “I’ll never do that again” travel lesson
- That one café that serves life-changing pastries (I’m caffeine-free but still snack-crazy)
- A weird local tradition I *have* to experience

I’ll share:
- Where to walk/run/workout
- How I survived working in travel tech and e-commerce without losing my mind
- How to play Ultimate Frisbee and Pickleball

Ask me anything, no topic’s off-limits! I’ll trade you embarrassing stories, career fails, or random tips. Deal? 🤝

What I Can Share with Hosts

1. Fun and Optimistic Personality
2. I am respectful and clean in the house
3. I can teach you the basics of Tagalog
4. I work in a travel company so I can give you hotel discounts if you are interested 😉
