About Me

Back to Europe after a 4 year stay in Australia and New Zealand.
I made Bern/ Switzerland my new home town and still love it after all these years. So much fun things to do here...
We enjoy cooking, mainly meat free and organic. East Asian, Thai, Indian, German and whatever we have learned while traveling. If you had a good recipe to share, that would be a great gift to bring along ;-P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

"A stranger is a friend you haven't met yet"
On a long bicycle journey many years ago I had the fortune to spend an evening on a roof terrace in Erfoud in the Moroccan dessert. Together with the local hosts and a group of couch surfers from many places we exchanged ideas of how the world should work and how life should be. We listened to reggae all night and watched the milky way. A night I will never forget.
I hope I can give back some of that feeling to oes on the road. And at the very least make a travelers day a little easier...
