About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be open to the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old guy, born and raised in Chile, South America. I'm currently working on my own as my own CEO at SOS IDIOMAS, the translation and interpretion agency I founded. I myelf am a Conference Interpreter for the following languages: Spanish, French, English and German.

I'm open-minded, talkative (not shy at all), easy going and creative. I love getting to know new people and have interesting conversations about diverse topics.

I love football (or soccer, if you want) and couldn't live without it. Besides foreign languauges, I also like writing, jogging, playing the guitar and watching movies that teach good values.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couch surfing because I want to get to know new people all over the world and have a place to sleep and (maybe) a good conversation when I am in another city or country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm looking forward to having many good experiences with Couch Surfing!

Interests

I love football and play once a week(however, not professionnally, but just for fun). I love sports in general. Since a couple of years I learned to love jogging and bike reading and ever since I do jogging constantly and use my bycicle on a daily basis as a means of transport.

As I do speak four languages, I'm always reading books or newspapers in any of these languages. I like writing very much. I do write some poetry but most of the time I do write in a booklet about my personal views of life. I also play guitar, also just for fun.

I'm very outgoing and am always looking for adventures and new staff to do with nice people around. In these sense I'm having a good time as an exchange student in Leipzig.

I like going out with friends, mostly to dance. I drink little alcohol (because I don't like very much the way it tastes), but I do always accept a glass of beer or wine. I do always look forward to listening to others and getting to know nice people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was last week at the top a a 2.700 m mountain, in Baviera, Germanay (the Watzmann mountain). I was exhausted (after having climbed that high) but really happy to enjoy a glorious view of the horizon from there.

It may sound funny but the very first time I got in an airplaine I was really nervous and scared. I thought the airplaine would fall and I wouldn't survive. When I actually landed safely, I was proud to have survived! I've had the chance to fly other times and I'm also proud to say that that fear is gone! Flying is one of the most amazing things I've done. I'm looking forward to making a parachute jump somtime!!
