Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm Gonzalo — originally from Lima, Peru, now living in London for a bit while I dive into the world of architecture and urban life. I'm the kind of person who gets excited about spontaneous adventures, long beach walks, local markets, and deep conversations over coffee (or pisco sour if we’re being festive!).
I’m passionate about animals (yes, I’ll stop to pet every dog), art in all its forms, and chasing sunsets whenever I get the chance. I love exploring cities through their hidden corners — from street murals and old buildings to the stories of the people who live there.
On Couchsurfing, I’m here to meet kind souls, share experiences, and maybe cook something pescatarian together. Always up for a walk, a museum visit, discuss urban topics or just watching the waves roll in at the beach.
Let’s connect — I’m a good listener, a curious traveler, and someone who believes life’s best moments are the unexpected ones.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travel is so much more than visiting landmarks — it's about connecting with people, sharing stories, and getting a feel for how others live in their own corners of the world. Couchsurfing feels like a beautiful way to do that.
I'm here to meet open-minded, generous-spirited people, learn from different perspectives, and maybe offer something in return — whether it’s good conversation, cooking a meal together, or exchanging travel tips and life stories.
To me, the best part of any trip is the human connection — that moment when a stranger becomes a friend.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music of course is Latin music, let's begin with reggaeton. I also enjoy pop, rock, indie music and discovering new artists.
I might be the most easy going guy ever but my favorite movie for some reason is Kill Bill, just love it.
Currently reading 'Planet of Slums' by Mike Davis! Super interesting theoretic book about the formation of slums around the world. Highly recommended!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Get one of the most competitives scholarships in the world to study my master's degree!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you to cook some Ceviche (Peruvian star dish), talk with you about theories of architecture and urban planning, discuss art or a movie, etc! It's all about sharing!
Countries I’ve Visited
Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, England, Eritrea, France, Italy, Scotland, Spain, United States
