I want to put something really witty here but I just want to live and love and have people think well of me.

ABOUT ME

Been going through some major life changes the past couple years both good and sad. But ya know... looking to the bright side is my preferred approach! My new love is my motorcycle! She is pretty sweet! Miss her a lot this cold time of year in the Great Northwest. Itching for a ride!I am trained as a chef, 4 years of culinary school and 30 years of restaurant/food service experience. I am currently the director of a school food service program for the past 13 years. It gets pretty dry and isn't creative but it does fuel my love of problem solving. I quench my creative thirst by teaching cooking classes and cooking for friends. I also love to mountain bike and try to stay active as much as possible. Happy daddy to five amazing kids all between 9 and 23 years old. I have had some pretty rich life experiences and love sharing those with others that express interest. I'm a kind, social, extroverted, wear my heart on my sleeve kind of guy. Love to be silly, adventurous, spontaneous, dig words, puns and stupid jokes. I probably talk too much but only if prompted or spontaneously after a couple good IPA's. There would be no lack of conversation if you were up to that! I could go on and on and on... but I will spare you!

Interests

My kids (five of them), travel, singing, amateur soundtech, music, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, talking, IPA and bitchen microbrews, good red wine, aspiring vegan, trying to be more "green", meeting new people, hanging with good old friends, rivers, mountains, peaches, peanut butter....lots more, like I said I like to talk!

Not a TV watcher. Like movies but in moderation. Love to read on vacation but can't seem to pull it of in my regular routine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

India! OMG! Three weeks of amazing travels all around south and central India! Trains, plains and automobiles! Unbelievable! Sometime ask me about the human skeleton next to the road.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a little bit a bout a lot of things. Love to teach people to cook and think that I am pretty good at it. I love to learn new things from other experts or enthusiasts. Couldn't give a shit about organized sports... Don't care how many touchdowns the Mariners made this past year. I'm kind of a computer geek too.
