Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travel the world and experience as much as possible
ABOUT ME
I fish commercially in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. I'm in Alaska most of the summer so if I don't respond, it's just because I don't have service. And the fishing schedules are ever shifting making it difficult to plan things far in advance. But feel free to message me and see if I'm available to host.
I'm a very open, honest, quiet person. I love to meet new people, be outdoors, cook, and learn new things.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is like a book, and those who don't travel only get to see the first page. I'd like to see how the book ends, wouldn't you?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both surfed and hosted and am very appreciative of all my experiences and opportunities through CouchSurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I can honestly say everyone I've met through CouchSurfing has been a pleasure to meet and get to know. I have made lifelong friends with beautiful people and hope to make many more.
Interests
I rarely spend my time inside, I love to go skating, snowboarding, hiking, biking, camping, climbing, swimming and just living life to the fullest. In the summer I spend the majority of my time around the water, but winters you won't find me inside either (I'll be up in the mtns).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm grateful to have the life I do, because there's something amazing I can take from every day of my life. But, I think my biggest accomplishment is going to Alaska on my own with nothing but a backpack and $200 to my name. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, then did whatever necessary to land a boat job. I even got on a boat with a negative bank balance and offered to work for free until they thought I was qualified.
