I'm a communication student from Montreal, and I just started travelling on my own.

Interests

I love cooking (I learned how to bake bread and bagels, and make risotto in 2014!) and enjoy reading although I don't as much as I want because of my studies. I enjoy hot yoga and biking, and can't wait to start doing those two again! I like doing crosswords (but only in French!) and like to discover other cultures through their food. I consider myself a foodie and don't mind eating meat, or eating vegetarian/vegan.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most types of music, from pop to rock, indie, classical, jazz, electronic... Basically, as long as it's not too experimental or it's not some osbcure metal genre, there's at least a chance I'll appreciate it!

I don't think I can pick one favorite movie; I like different movies for different reasons depending on my mood.

My favorite books are the Harry Potter series, His Dark Materials series, and Perfume: THe History of A Murderer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think just leaving my French-speaking-only-no-English-ever home and going to an English-only country, even if I was scared of not understanding them, of not being able to speak to anyone, was really amazing.
