Gordana - an old soul with a young spirit. I seek wisdom and truth from new experiences and thought-provoking conversations. I'm kind of timid to continue writing about myself because the book I'm reading right now says how can we know ourselves if we haven't met ourselves. We're but a reflection of our parents, cultural up bringing, teachers, friends and family. I was born in former Yugoslavia. I like to call it that way because that's when the Balkan Peninsula was united. I was born during the civil Balkan war and feel highly encouraged to promote peace to the best of my abilities and knowledge, but you don't need deep knowledge to spread peace and love. I am the first person in my family to break all the traditional expectations of my life, I guess you can call me badass. My family and I immigrated to the U.S., which has helped me gain a unique perspective on life having two different world view lenses. I love life and learning about it and myself everyday. The rest can be known when you meet me in person and share my energy.
