About Me

--- current adventure! ---
Building out my home on wheels in Gdańsk, Poland

--- next adventure! ---
Backpacking in Jordan - first big trip in a looooong time :))
-----------------

Hi, I'm Gosia!

I come from Gdańsk, Poland and I don't really know what I'm doing.

I'm slowly making my way around the world backpacking and selling postcards I painted. I work as a freelance video editor and spend evenings in the garage working on my van ;)) I studied animation Rotterdam and now for three years I've been traveling full-time, alone and with friends. I'm a bit chaotic but always up for an adventure and meeting people wherever I go.

I have a travel YouTube channel called Arcovidia and I'm super passionate about film. Right now I'm working on my camera operator skills as I document the beauty in weird corners of this wonderful planet :))

In 2023 I spent 5 months on the Atlantic Ocean hopping boats from Canary Islands to Madeira, Azores and Porto. I worked in French vineyards harvesting grapes this summer and spent the most beautiful month of my entire life hiking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.

In 2024 I AGAIN spent 4 months sailing - this time south and came back hitchhiking from Senegal to Spain. Worked in Alaska for a bit and won a filmmaking contest that got me a free ride to beautiful Sri Lanka!

In 2025 I came home, bought a rusty-ass Sprinter and started converting it from scratch, documenting the process on my YouTube channel. Haven't done much travelling except for hitchhiking to the legendary trumpet festival in Guča, Serbia.

Now, I'm planning more adventures :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is, hands down, the BEST way to travel. The kindness of couch surfing hosts restored my faith in humanity, I love that we can share and help each other, especially during hard times. I want t explore the world without getting caught in the vicious cycle of capitalism - I'd rather cook you a nice meal, tell a joke or teach you one of the things I learned over the years. I believe that if we go back to seeing actual humans in each other instead of price tags and career opportunities, the world will be a better place! Not to mention, we'll gain a friend or two :))

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm can teach you how to crochet awesome socks, cook low-effort comfort food or a full Polish feast. Sewing, building, soldering - you name it! I can help you with any art or video project you have going on and most importantly - I can listen.

Right now I'm aggressively practicing guitar and ukulele. I also want to learn surfing, climbing, pretty much any language on Earth and any other random skill you may offer!
