ABOUT ME

I just moved in to an apartment in North Center(Chicago neighborhood)with my wonderful sister Zuri (she is also on couchsurfing) and so now I believe we can start accepting couchsurfers!!! YAY!!!! I still work in the bustling Financial District as a Commodities Broker. I go to school part time working towards a degree in Philosophy - hopefully I will be able to use this knowledge to teach some day. In my free time I like to play soccer, ride bikes, roller blade, watch movies, knit and wax intellectual with my friends. I also really enjoy going on walks with my dog and taking in the scenery around me. I have a strong passion for music and love to record or listen to music with my friends. I also play on a co-ed soccer team every Thursday night with some really great people! I love to find the great deals going on in this wonderful city so I can make the most out of my time here...while saving money!

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe that people should live their life without fear, but with love and appreciation; esepcially for the little things! It is best to appreciate what you have and not focus on the what ifs in life

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think that Couch Surfing is a great idea for networking and helping fellow travelers. I just moved in with my wonderful sister Zuri, who is also on couchsurfing, so now we can start hosting surfers of our own!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just a few years ago my good friend and I were able to participate and complete a 20 mile walk to bring awareness to suicide and suicide prevention. We were also able to raise about $3,000 towards the cause.
