我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because I don’t travel to see places, I travel to meet people. People who are different than us, people who don’t speak our language, who don’t look like us, who don’t eat like us and who don’t think like us.

This is what travel is for me. Travel is to learn and I am a master of finding connection and this is what I have learned from people also.

I still can't figure out whether people travel for the people or for the places. Either way you turn it, you always keep on coming back for something you left unfinished or unfelt till the end.

It is obvious that I myself cannot travel to every corner on the Earth, so I believe Couchsurfing would grant me opportunities to meet people from various parts of the world. Thanks to that, I could embrace diverse cultures, customs and broaden my horizon.
Meet new friends. Travelling is about turning strangers into friends, but with me this process takes 10 seconds.

It’s always nice to know a place through the eyes’ of a local person. A Lonely Planet guide can’t take you to places a local can. :)

If traveling was free, then most probably you would never see me again.

My travel stories and photos, languages, own culture; simple cooking.

I'd conserve water and electricity. 
I'd volunteer to help on food preparation, dish washing ; keep myself and the house clean and tidy. A non-smoker.
