My name is Gowan. I have just landed in Paris on a one way ticket. My goal is to hopefully find a job somewhere in France after exploring the country! Would love to meet some awesome people along the way!

ABOUT ME

My name is Gowan Gillis. I'm from Vancouver but will be spending 2012 in Australia. I'm really looking forward to making new friends and having a crazy adventure.

Back home, I like playing music (I was in a band for several years) and sports or just having a few beers with friends. I like being surrounded by people that make me laugh, I get bored by myself. I kind of live for the summer and just love hanging out at the beach all day.

Traveling is my biggest passion though. The crazy places you find yourself and the great people you meet make traveling the most invigorating thing I can think of.

PHILOSOPHY

I have an undergraduate university degree, but want to check a lot of dreams of the list before I go back to school.

I like books by Dave Eggars, Jack Kerouac

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say that the highlighs of my life so far have been traveling (namely 4 months backpacking Europe) and playing music live for a huge dancing crowd gives you a great adrenaline rush.
