I've just finished Bad Blood by Lorna Sage. The very best book I read last year was The Signature of All Things. I'm not good at watching screens, don't do TV at all and am picky about movies, no violence and there has to be a message. I do love my iPad and play a lot of Scrabble on there every day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled a lot and swam with dolphins and stingrays. Always terrified of deep water, but have to keep going back in! I've had so many adventures all over the world.

I try to be completely trusting and this has got me into trouble in the past, but it has also brought me into many wonderful situations that I would never have believed possible. I feel blessed and loved most places I go and I think this is because of my great trust that everything will be alright and so far it has been.

I have known Grace Benson for four years in both a practitioner and personal capacity. I have been instructed by Grace in yoga practice and received reflexology treatment. In these practices she has always been professional and organized.
More recently I had the need to call on Grace when I sustained extreme injuries from a cycling accident. I was incapacitated to the point of not being able to use both my arms from bi-lateral fractured radius. I was unable to feed myself, dress, or attend to personal hygiene. More importantly, as a person with Type 1 Diabetes I was unable to operate my insulin pump. Grace enabled me to return home from hospital by providing full nursing care for me for over 24 hours. She did this with great care, thoughtfulness and compassion. She operated my insulin pump following my instructions diligently, and ensured I had my prescribed medicines when required. While in great pain, she was careful and considerate making sure I was as comfortable as I could be following the trauma of the accident. She woke to check on me during the night and to administer painkillers. Throughout Grace was attentive, kind, and compassionate.
I have no hesitation in recommending Grace for a nursing care/ support position.
