Hi! I am a full time van life traveler in the USA and have been traveling North America for nine years now. I'm originally from the Deep South. I love meeting new people and seeing new places. I will strike up a conversation with anyone who stands around me long enough. I am a collector of stories. Stories of people and places, and stories of my own. I'll stay up all night and listen to yours. I am starting off my European adventures after having seen so much of the US. I have been blessed to work with and meet people from all over the world, many who have become life-long friends I maintain contact with. I look forward to visiting them in their home countries and making more friends along the way. History and culture fascinate me and I look forward to traveling to places I've read about and longed to experience. Nature is my passion. The majority of my time on the road was spent in or in close proximity to some of the most beautiful places in America. From deserts, to subtropics, hardwood forest, mountains, temperate rainforest, and all the ones in between. I consider myself a nomad and therefore maintain the constant drive to go, and see, and do. I am very fortunate to have been able to maintain an alternative lifestyle that allows me the freedom to do so.
I wouldn't consider myself religious, but I do have spirituality and deep respect, admiration, and curiosity for religion and ritual and would love to hear about yours.
I enjoy poetry, literature, and history (especially the ancient stuff), animals, walking, hiking, biking (easy stuff), horseback riding, and more.
I cannot host anybody in America because I live in the van constantly moving place to place.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing primarily to meet people, especially those with the travel itch as well. I value genuine human connection. I've found that these short but rich interactions really are the spice of life. To share yourself and a part of your life with someone and for them to share themselves with you in return is a special and very human experience and one that is dear to me. My goal in traveling Europe is to just experience whatever comes my way as I'm moving from place to place and living life as fully as I can. Thus far the Universe has arranged things for me with what feels like little effort from my part. Couchsurfing feels like an extension of the goodwill shown to me from the Universe.
