Overview
About Me
I am a student at the University of Utah, studying nursing (hoping to start the nursing program this Fall, if all goes according to plan!!) I enjoy hiking, swimming, Netflixing, singing, playing the saxophone, and a humble bit of piano. My family is everything to me! I come from a big one. I served an LDS mission in Chile, and I absolutely love the culture there and Latin culture in general. I love to dance (not the best dancer ever) and learn new moves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am disgusted by how expensive hotels are! And boring! I would love to meet new people while I travel. As a full-time student, I don't travel often, but when I do, I want it to be meaningful. And cheap. Cheap is good.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Children's Movies - Megamind, Lion King, Finding Nemo/Dory
Favorite Adult Movies - Wait Until Dark, The Phantom of the Opera, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Ocean's 11
Books - (so many!) The Help, Harry Potter, A Tale of Two Cities, Bud, Not Buddy, Man's Search for Meaning, The Hiding Place, and many others
Music- Don't really have a favorite. I like most kinds.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived for six months in the small home town of Alexis Sanchez, the famous Chilean soccer player while I was in Chile on my mission.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you brush up on Spanish, if interested. I also play the Saxophone. If you are a student, I can help edit essays and papers (I'm pretty good at that.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good stories, and I also love to listen and learn. I can share my no-bake cookie skills, and I make a mean breakfast burrito.
