This profile is for me and mike
We are a couple from London who are taking a years career break to travel and volunteer mainly in Asia and Latin/South America with a short hop to Australia to see family in between. We have both worked for over ten years each in health and social care services in the uk. Grace is a mental health nurse with experience of inpatient and community care and more recently as a family therapist, she is very interested in mental health and charitable work abroad and has recently qualified as a 500hr yoga therapist and is keen to use yoga and mindfulness practice in a therapeutic way. Mike is a social worker and has lots of experience working with children and families where there has been trauma, he loves training people and is interested in teaching. He loves football and has recently started tai chi which he would love to do more of. We love people and are very sociable, able to use our initiative and would really like to help in any way we can. We are excited to meet people from all walks of life.
