I'm from Michigan, USA and most recently lived in Seattle, Washington. I’m an active, free-spirited person, and I’ve enjoyed running, climbing, yoga, art, and making music. In the past few years I’ve been increasingly interested in spirituality (I grew up Christian but fell away from the faith many years ago), and I’m currently visiting Buddhist monasteries. In general, spending time with good people is when I'm happiest! I love traveling and learning as much as I can about other cultures and people.

Music: electronic and funk/r&b fusion sort of beats is a favorite. Jazz, reggae, folk, and anything with some good groove or soul.
Books: some novels but primarily non-fiction, especially getting at the real truths of life stuff.

I can tell you a decent amount about Buddhism, especially the Theravada Thai Forest tradition. Also pottery, health and fitness, tech stuff, and many other things!
