ABOUT ME

People have said about me that I'm very laid back, and my friends all think of me as the one that organizes activities and events and gets everyone together ("rallying the troops"). I'm good at making new friends and love to travel and explore.

兴趣

Things that grab my attention and make my life engaging are any things that are new and exciting... hence, my love for travel! Meeting new people in entirely new and different environments is the most stimulating thing I can imagine. Also, I love to take pictures and write, so new experiences always offer new inspiration. I like to capture beautiful things that I see in pictures, and represent them in unique ways with words.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In the summer of 2011 I hitchhiked from Chicago, Illinois to Vancouver, British Columbia with a friend, and it was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. We met so many awesome people and saw so much of the United States that I had never seen before, and it was fascinating and exciting.

In summer of 2010 I broke my back while cliff-jumping, and miraculously made a full recovery very quickly. There is nothing that this accident has prevented me from doing, and that certainly left me awestruck (not to mention thankful!)

More recently, I climbed the majestic Mount Esja in Iceland with two new friends, and saw the most spectacular views and beautiful landscapes I have ever witnessed.
