hello everyone. as you can see from my profile i've been on couchsurfing a few years by now. i have since moved on to airbnb. while i genuinely enjoy hosting people i do live with a chronic illness and so the work of cleaning up after guests is not trivial. since necessarily i haven't been on a vacation in about a decade, i'm naturally a bit leary of subsidizing other people's travels. you're welcome to stay with me if you volunteer to help with the cleaning or pay the nominal fee i charge for airbnb guests.

i tend to ignore requests for last minute accomodation as not only is it annoying and inconvenient but i am usually already hosting someone. i also dislike the hassle of screening people for single night visits.

I have a spare bedroom, and it feels nice to share.

I don't heat the entire house throughout the year. winter is probably not a good time to visit. you will also need a car to visit me as i don't live within walking distance of town.
