Hello! I'm Grace, this profile is for both me and my partner, Dashiell, as we live (and often travel) together!

We're two visual artists residing in Richmond, Virginia. We're on Instagram: @phoneland and @dashiellkirk

Dashiell is an art teacher, illustrator, animator and writes graphic novels.
Grace is a graphic designer and illustrator, arts teacher, as well as a historic tour guide for the city of Richmond.

When we’re hosting, we love sharing our favorite things about Richmond with visitors. There are lots of great restaurants, museums/monuments, and other things going on, so if you're more the quiet type, or like going out, we can make some good recommendations.

When traveling, we are up for anything! We like to share a meal with our hosts and learn more about their life and perspective. We are progressive, open minded and accepting people. Both of us are laid back and open to new experiences and adventure.

When traveling we love to see how others live, what their life is about, and learn about what they’re passionate about.

When hosting, we love showing people Richmond and helping them enjoy all our city has to offer, as well as getting to know some new friends. Hosting helps us feel like we’re traveling too!

We live next to a historic cemetery called "Hollywood Cemetery." There are two U.S. Presidents buried here as well as 80,000 other graves.

We once traveled through Japan for one month straight, meeting all kinds of amazing people and seeing amazing sights and culture.
