ABOUT ME

Ive traveled a lot over my 20 year life span, partially during moves, and partially on my own because I love to see new places! Ive lived in a variety of states, mostly on the east coast, and am currently residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Im a third year art education student at Tyler School of Art, Temple University. I can honestly say that I love what I do and wouldn't want to be doing anything else! When Im not at school im waitressing at a cafe in my hometown. In a month (May 20th to be exact) my roommate and I are going to backpack around Europe and are currently looking for some friendly people to host us along the way. (:

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life remembering that I will not always be here and that my time is fleeting. I enjoy little moments in my life and try to always be grateful for what I have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im currently looking for some friendly people to host me and my roommate along our month long journey through Europe! We'll be traveling to Brussels, Gent, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Venice, Florence, Rome, and Paris.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have none yet but I have heard great things from my friends who have used this site in their travels. Hopefully Ill have a good experience on this trip with couch surfing so that Ill come back to Philadelphia wanting to host people at my house!

Interests

Since Im an art student, I obviously love art in many forms. Part of the excitement of this upcoming trip is centered around seeing some amazing works that I havent had the opportunity to see yet. Other than that, I love live music and have a wide variety of genres I listen to. Mainly I just really enjoying having new experiences and learning new skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel lucky to say that Ive done and seen some pretty amazing things already in my lifetime. Off the top of my head, seeing The Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel was incredible. Everywhere that Ive been in this country or another one has had amazing things to be seen, though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you all about modern art! Specifically modern American art but I know a decent amount about other artists as well. I could talk about art for hours, and tend to if given the opportunity! I can help you learn how to draw or paint, help you with your English, or show you how to do yoga.

I like to cook, so learning a thing or two from a more experienced cook would be really cool. I think that every single person has something interesting they can teach me, though. Everyone has something to offer.
