ABOUT ME

21 year old American student currently studying in Scotland. I was born in New Mexico but have spent most of my life in and around Boston. While in Scotland I am taking advantage of travel opportunities in the UK and Europe. My favourite cities include London, Rome, and Budapest although some of my best experiences have been in the Alps and in National Parks in the US. One of my favourite things about traveling is the people that I meet who are always so different and interesting. I love exploring and new experiences in general. I'm the kind of person who loves a good night out but is also perfectly content to spend a day reading a good book. Life is an adventure and I definitely stay busy, but I always try to make the time to savor every moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relatively new to CS, however I've spent a lot of time in hostels sharing rooms with people from all over the world and that's been an incredible experience. I've also been lucky enough to stay with families in France and Austria and have really enjoyed myself.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love reading and while I love too many to list I would say my top there are Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, The World According to Garp by John Irving, and Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts.

I listen to different types of music, generally alternative and rock. My favorite band is currently (and I don't see this changing anytime soon) the Grateful Dead.

I would have to say my all time favorite movie is Shrek.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When I was a small child I was part of the crew for a hot air balloon team in Albuquerque's Hot Air Balloon Festival. I helped (or probably thought I was helping more than I actually was) set up in the morning and follow the balloon all day before cleaning up at night. Each year she would take each member of the crew for a ride as a thank you. Definitely an unforgettable experience.
