About Me
Pura Vida!
I am a latina trying to adapt to this swampy town that has become my new home.
Born and raised in the best country in the world: the beautiful paradise of Costa Rica. I love nature, animals, and conservation. I love science and medicine and anything related to that. I love yoga and pole dancing. I love my culture, including the food, music, and Latin dancing. And of course, to travel to any new place and get immersed to have a local experience but also see all the famous things from the place.
I am a veterinarian, and I wished that since I was a kid, so I enjoy what I do. I was crazy enough to start a PhD, so I moved to BR. It has been fun! I enjoy the culture, the traditions, and the food. Although people say there is nothing to do in BR, I don't see it this way; there is always something to do here.
I am a very easygoing, spontaneous, and fun girl. I can go out for any type of plan, from going out to have a beer or party, to simply having a coffee or a tea with a good talk.
I am not 100% available to host anyone anytime because I work, study a lot, and have to talk to my roommate first. But try it; I will do my best to help you. And if not, I may be available to show you around or give you advice.
Pd. If you have a pet, I would love to meet your pet!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, cultures, and meeting people's stories and passions.
A long time ago, my friend's family hosted me in Rome without knowing me, and I had a fantastic time there. For the first time, I experienced a trip with an authentic local experience. Additionally, I was hosted way better than any 5-star hotels in the area. But what fulfilled me the most was the opportunity to share them. At that time, I had a couchsurfing experience without a profile.
After that, I was introduced to Couchsurfing and have loved it since then. I started using it to travel and help people in Costa Rica.
Thanks to Couchsurfing, I had an incredible time in many places around Europe and the USA. And I met the most impressive and lovely people. That is why I am here: to keep having those experiences and have the opportunity to give back to the community by helping those who are traveling through the place I live.
Interests
I love all the animals. I love to explore the outdoors, so I enjoy hiking, birdwatching, and helping. I love the beach. I love road trips and spontaneous plans.
