About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience new things!

ABOUT ME

I climb, I love traveling and adventuring.
I study bats, birds, and wolverines.

PHILOSOPHY

Look for the beauty in everything. This life is too awesome to be bothered by the little things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch yet myself, but I look forward to surfing all over and sharing what I know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few couches. I love traveling this way- staying with locals, you get a more accurate representation of a region is like, not to mention that by virtue of the fact that they participate in this community, they are probably off-the-beaten-path type people who are worth knowing!

Interests

Traveling, climbing, camping, birding, ecology/wildlife, photography, skiing, wakeboarding, gardening, relaxing, trying new things, meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Held a live wolverine

Teach, Learn, Share

I can take you to the climbing gym in Ann Arbor and lead trips to the region's sport and bouldering crags (Red River Gorge, Cooper's Rock, New River Gorge, Niagra Glen etc.). Can teach basic climbing/belaying skills.

I know a lot about North American and New Zealand ecology and am knowledgable about local/global conservation issues.

I love people I can practice spanish with, and I am always itching to try out new languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and baking and will make you some delicious fish tacos if you let me!

I have lots of stories about traveling and working with all sorts of wildlife. I'm very knowledgeable about ecology and environmental issues and am always excited to have discussions about those topics!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
