Hi It's so nice to meet you!

Here is "a little bit" about myself:

My name is Grace. just call me Chuyi (Chewy..like Chewbacca JK. that's how people pronounce my Chinese name). I’ve been a designer working for tech giants like Amazon and Google. I am a culture lover, a marketer, a digital designer, a sushi maker, a comedian and a traveling photographer who graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in the U.S (Focusing on online Marketing and digital design is my heart's passion) . I helped with a summer design research at Stanford University in California afterwards.

I look forward to sharing some stories and yummies with you when we meet :D

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I traveled to many places and I understand how hard it is sometimes traveling by yourself to book a hotel spending tons of money and complaining about not experiencing the real local life. I'd like to meet with people and explore the world with you with a much more local experience. I'd also love to host you when you visit my cities, plus you will save $ ;)

When did I start traveling?
I love traveling and meeting with different people in the world ever since I was little due to the influence of my Mom. My Mom Elizabeth is a university professor in China, Europe and in Tunisia. She is one of the kindest and the most interesting woman I've known who traveled around the world with a loving heart that she teach college students, kids , helped people who are in need and she have international friends wherever she goes.

I guess she pass me a traveling gene that she told me I will have many international friends (and I do), I am looking forward to explore the world and not getting settled (until I catch all the Pokemon JK :) after graduating from college.

With a simple and a sincere heart. I'd love to talk about stories, food, cultures and policies with you.

Traveling it is a way for me to remembering new things in life, to get inspired to create beautiful design.I've visited and studied in the U.K, U.S, Japan, Korea and Tunisia... I worked online for tech companies at Silicon Valley and take short term projects (User experience, Online Marketing (Google Adword ), Website design, Graphic design, Photography..etc) wherever I go. I know how challenging it is to work while traveling sometimes, message if you need any help within these area or you just want to have a random chat.
