About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To leave things better than how I found them.
ABOUT ME
I am a pilot and music teacher (although not at the same time) in the beautiful state of Minnesota. I have taught music for about 8 years and during that time spent 3 years working at an amazing international school in Egypt. I got to travel in the Middle East and will never forget those experiences. And the best part? I met my future wife there. After teaching I switched careers and became a full-time pilot for an airline here in the US. I love both music and flying; They're both "infinite" arts.
PHILOSOPHY
Live everyday like your last, and one day you'll be right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Although I'd be happy to host anyone, it doesn't seem like too many people are traveling around America. I participate by staying with other CS hosts around the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few times in Europe.
Interests
All kinds of music, especially jazz and Sting, history, golf, aviation, practicing my instruments, speaking broken French, Italian and Arabic. I am fascinated with the notion of celebrity and why we exalt "famous" people. I love animals and have a cat named Izzy. I don't smoke and drink lightly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had a hole-in-one golfing. That was pretty neat. I've seen amazing things while being a pilot like the Northern Lights and St. Elmo's Fire. I'm fortunate to have seen great art at many galleries around the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmmm...I could talk for hours about music theory or anything aviation.
