i live in san marcos, texas and play music in a weirdo art performance band called attic ted. i tour quite a bit, including going to europe once about year, sharing my music and visual art. my day job is specialty carpentry work, mostly working for artists, building large canvases for painting. i have a 17 year old daughter who lives with me. we like to cook healthy food and jump in the river to find relief from the brutal texas summer heat. i have a dog, two chickens, and a duck. i hate tv, but love film. i like to read classic literature. i collect records and cassettes and old photographs.

when on tour, part of the fun is not having a place to stay, and taking a chance that someone at the concert will let you sleep on their couch. this nearly always works out fine... but it would be nice to have this safety net of possible contacts. once i was nearly stranded in nyc, in 20 degree weather, when my friend was too sound asleep to let me into his apartment. yikes.. but it worked out. i also love hosting friends who tour thru texas. we have an extra guest bedroom, and always encourage visits.

most of my favorite stories include traveling. i have played music all over europe, including istanbul, on the asia side actually.
