ABOUT ME

I'm currently working as a paramedic in Whitehorse, Yukon where I love my job and love my city in the mountains!
I consider myself to be very friendly and personable, while having a very relaxed personality. I greatly enjoy and cherish meeting and chatting with people from all walks of life.
Qualities in others that I admire and what I try to practice myself is being open to new experiences, continue to learn and challenge yourself, While making friends along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed three times before and hope to use it in the future in order to meet and get to know new people along with seeing new sights.
In return for others' hospitality, I plan on paying it forward by hosting others just as soon as I return home

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed on a couch in Ottawa, San Francisco, and in Bologna (Italy) and had a great time with all experiences. I really enjoyed meeting people from all around the world and just simply learning, laughing and having a great time with them. Also staying with someone from the city helps a lot by directing me to find all the truly interesting spots.

Interests

I have a great passion for all types of movies, books, and music. I enjoy talking / discussing these and love getting new recommendations in which to enjoy.
To counter this I'm a active guy and love getting outside and participating in any activity or sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a great love / hobby for film, all types really, but espically for the rare, art house and the classics. I'll always have a place in my heart for Kurosawa's films.
My music interest crosses all genres, and as of now I'm trying to focus on learning more about Funk and Soul. I love seeing live shows and adding to my vinyl collection.
As for books I fill my time reading from a wide variety of literature and plays.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked through Europe a couple times and can't wait to go back

Traveled on my own for six weeks across India which ended up being one of the best experiences of my life (cliche I know).

Burning Man Festival... Mind Blowing

I climbed the Chilkoot trail from BC to Alaska through the Yukon twice. It is an incredible trip!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a paramedic so you can feel safe with me! I also enjoy teaching anyone interested about anything and everything that has to do with the human body.

Sharing stories about Burning Man Festival.

I've been to California many times and lived in Seattle so I can recommend lots of things to do in those places.

I've backpacked all over Canada and the United States, mostly by he Greyhound Bus. As well as throughout Europe a couple times, and now across Asia. I'd love to share my experiences and lessons learned as well as learn from your adventures.
