I hostel hop whenever I travel, mostly so i can meet fellow travelers. I understand how expensive it can be and how great it is to meet locals wherever you go. I want to help my fellow travelers as I have been helped.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Ireland, I stayed at a castle. When walking the extensive grounds, I saw they had hawking lessons. I signed up on a whim. The next morning, it was just me, a hawk, and my instructor strolling through Harry Potter-esque forest, sending a hawk into the trees and having it return to my waiting hand.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've gotten around quite a bit, some in Asia, mostly in Europe. I have a lot of stories and know a lot about cooking and food. I'm very active, and love to try new things. I work in business, so I do process improvement and lean for a living.
