About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Attaining enlightenment

ABOUT ME

I try to practice a sort of minimalism (known as laziness to some), or at least moderation, with respect to physical necessities. I am happiest when I am engaged in a mental or physical occupation of some sort. This is why graduate school in math is good for me. It's also why I like cycling (lots of hours of training).

I have Canadian/American citizenship. (Yes, I watch hockey.)

PHILOSOPHY

I like simplicity and trying to figure out the most efficient way to be happy. Trying to eliminate everything from my life that isn't a necessity and does not increase my or others' happiness or well-being.

I am fascinated by things that are impossible to understand. Which are, in my opinion, almost everything. I love applying sound logic to situations and reaching conclusions which are utterly ridiculous. I think the world can be learned about and learned from, but I am nevertheless steadfast in my opinion that the world makes absolutely no sense.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently planning a road trip from Tallahassee out to Davis, and am looking to crash on some couches and meet some people in between.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything around me and all that goes on in my mind is so magnificently incomprehensible and utterly bewildering that it would be simply dishonest to claim to know which of them is the most amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have bicycles I can service them, and teach you how to. I can also advise you on your position (although I am NOT a licensed bike-fitter).

If for some reason, there is some area of math you would like to know about, chances are I can tell you all about it.
