My name is Nurul Aini, call me Nunu instead. I live in a municipality town called Dumai. I am the daughter of an English teacher, Muchsin. My father has passed away, so I run his English Course now. I am 22 years old and I live with my mother, my elder sister with her baby and my younger sister. My father and I have run an English course from 1991. I teach and encourage my students to practice English both spoken and written. Therefore, one of our English course programs is to practice English directly with foreigners from all over the world.
I have hosted a lot of travellers from England, Japan, Korean, Poland, Russia, USA, Swiss, Canada and many more.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I would like to invite travelers from all over the world to come to my English course, talking and sharing with my students to encourage them. By practicing, I have fulfilled my program and my students will get used to using English, especially in spoken.

I am fond of reading. I read English books, dictionaries and novels. I also love to watch movie and having an enjoy conversation with other people from different culture and countries.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I and my English course students have been to Lake Toba in North Sumatera for practicing English. There are a lot of tourists from other countries so it will get easier for my students to speak English.

In 2009, I have hosted a family from Argentina for a week at my house. I also have met a volunteer couple from England and I hosted them for almost a month.
Also, I have hosted a man from Iran as a volunteer at my English Course. He stayed for 2 months and he has come twice to my house.

I had learned English since I was young. I learned English by self-taught. That's why I decided to build my own English course and teach English. Not only for elementary, junior high, senior high but also college students and even employees.

My house is located in a strategic area. It is close to the supermarket, traditional market, internet cafe and delicatessen. To go to the downtown it takes 20 minutes on foot and 10 minutes by motorcycle.

At my house, I provide a bedroom for travelers. I offer you a free accommodation such as bedroom, food and beverage, and so on.
