The further I go, the more I explore, and the new people I have met through traveling, have all contributed to helping understand how sick and twisted the world is.

ABOUT ME

Life really is too short to meet everyone in the world, but my goal is to create as many quality friendships and learn about what makes people so unique while i'm on earth. Traveling is one of my favorite activities, its something that has enlightened me, made me more aware of aspects of culture, meet new people, experience great food bc im a foody, and have a good time. I was born and raised in northern california, parents are of korean descent, we love meeting new people!, I like being organized as well as doing things spontaneously, I am kind of random, adventure is my game, and please if you have any questions...I really would be happy to share.

PHILOSOPHY

I honestly love a good burger, fries, and a cold beer. But I also love garlic humus w/ pita and sliced cucumber or seafood paella w/rabbit meat and a side-glass of wine. What I'm saying is, I'm open to everything, I yearn to learn differences in culture, and I grow each damn awkward experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to be a great Couch Surfer, one couch surf at a time! I want to get barreled, absolutely pitted, and go frothing. Ok, there goes my surfer language. But essentially be courteous and humble. Its a great experience I need to participate in!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Relatively new, but I have helped friends who offered couches at their houses in Madrid, Spain, and helped couch surfers have a great time as well as show them around when the hosts couldn't. Globally its such a rewarding experience, have heard of many good experiences and very little bad, but hey, a helping hand is a helping hand.

兴趣

Travel, music, playing musical instruments, being outdoors, guacamole, pizza, skiing, alternative energy, old-school skate decks, ping-pong, hitting the nightlife in the city, the ocean, surf, i'm kind of a gadget geek, i like new technology.

Books: A lot of business books, and reading about circuit boards for work...everyday, sigh. But I like the Alchemist, Pipe Dreams, Outliers, Steinbeck, and Surfer Magazine.

Movies: Forest Gump, Waynes World, The Blood Diamond, Home Alone, Pedro Almodovar

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The Patagonias in southern Chile, hiked it and loved it.
Surfed Colorados, Nicaragua, great left barrels.
Saw Buhl-guksa (giant buddhist shrine in cave) in South Korea.
Saw a guy tackle the 10x10 at in-n-out burger santa barbara, he gave up at about 9.
Surfed "backyards" in isla vista, just me and my buddy, and 2 dolphins. Will always remember that.
