ABOUT ME
I am a father of 3 grown up children which live alone; in 2009 my wife died and I decided to come and live in Spain since I just retired; I'm very sportmanlike (I love running, now I'm biking more) and musically active(drummer), I like to read and travelled a lot the last 40 years;in the ninetees and up to 2008 we offered our house to foreign students with the exchange program of AFS; I origin from Poland and I like international and multicultural company; I enjoy having a lot of spare time to share with others; I don't like celebrating parties, but I do like eating and drinking in good company; I also like cultural festivities
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live honestly and to be understanding and respectful; I'm a humanist and I prefer Eastern philosofy as a way of living, but I'm not religious
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I open my house to travellers. I lived in the most typical neighboorhoud of Granada, the Sacromonte- It's the home of the gypsies and the flamencobars situated in caves. I also lived in a combined cavehouse in the very heart of this touristic site. Now I'm Bach in the çity of Granada. Notice : I CAN HOST ONLY 2 PEOPLE AT THE SAME TIME !!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted a lot of people the last years, ages between 21 and 65 and originating from Latvia, Lituania, Russia, Czechia, Poland, Rumania, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, England, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Spain, Corea, Taiwan, Kuwait....
Interests
sports=not football but basketbal, triathlon, athletics, biking, music=not rap, metal or house, but classical, world, blues, rock, pop, jazz, folk, country etc..., reading, travelling, museums...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a drummer in a rock group in the sixties and later member of a professional mime group.
Later on I became a banker and ran (half) marathons
I travelled in Europe, Asia,the middle East, North-,Middle and South America and Africa and saw a lot of different cultures
Teach, Learn, Share
I experienced a lot of travelling, I worked in the banking sector, I know a lot about long distance running, cycling and playing music
I'm always in for interesting subjects, but I don't like technical matters
